The PWM-Driver's adjustable duty cycle provides an accurate means of controlling power delivered to a load. Duty cycle can be set from 10% to 100% with an analog voltage.Reduced duty cycle results in reduced power dissipation.

A unique feature of the PWM-Driver is its ability to provide an initial constant dc output (100% duty cycle) and then switch to PWM mode to save power. This function is particularly useful when driving solenoids which have a much higher pull-in current requirement than hold requirement.
